Holi Celebrations See Multiple Road Accidents Linked to Overspeeding and Drunk Driving

During Holi celebrations, multiple regions in India reported significant road accidents linked to overspeeding and drunk driving. In Lucknow, eight people died and over 300 were injured, with major hospitals treating numerous accident victims. In Madhya Pradesh, 948 road accidents occurred statewide, with Sagar, Vidisha, and Indore among the most affected districts. Authorities emphasized the risks of rash driving during festivals and urged adherence to traffic rules to prevent further incidents.
