The Twashta Kasar Samaj Sanstha Vachan Mandir, a Pune library established in 1976, houses approximately 50,000 books in Marathi, Hindi, and English. The library, which attracts around 50 young readers daily, aims to foster a reading habit, particularly among children. It was inaugurated by Balasaheb Thackeray in 1977 and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026. The library's origins trace back to a smaller organization library around 1911, with the current building inaugurated in 1993.
