Residents of Noida's Sector 15A have protested against the Noida Authority's plan to allocate a 40-year-old public park plot for a religious site under a recently launched scheme. The scheme allows eligible applicants to lease land for 90 years to build temples, following requests from some locals. Protesters fear loss of green space, disruption from increased crowds, and inadequate infrastructure. A petition by 59 residents has been filed in the Allahabad High Court, while the Authority states the scheme responds to community demands.
