
Seven Tamil Nadu pilgrims, including five women, died when their bus veered off the road and fell down a slope in Central Nepal on March 14. The group of 24 pilgrims from Pollachi and Devakottai was returning from the Manakamana Temple. The deceased's bodies are undergoing autopsy in Kathmandu before being transported to Chennai Airport. The Tamil Nadu government, along with the Non-Resident Tamils Welfare Department and the Union Ministry of External Affairs, is coordinating the repatriation and medical care for the injured.
