Mumbai Water Supply Disruptions Scheduled for Metro Line 7A Pipeline Diversion

Mumbai's Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will divert the Upper Vaitarna water pipeline for the Metro Line 7A project, causing water supply disruptions from 9 am on January 20 to 5 am on January 22. Affected areas across multiple wards, including G North, K East, S, H East, and N, will experience low-pressure supply, altered timings, or complete shutdowns. Residents are advised to store water in advance and use it cautiously during the 44-hour maintenance period.
