Man Dies After Jumping onto Tracks at Delhi's Uttam Nagar East Metro Station

A 45-year-old man named Maharaj Singh from Rajasthan died after allegedly jumping onto the tracks at Uttam Nagar East Metro Station in Delhi. The incident occurred around 9:50 am, and his body was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for post-mortem. Singh, a house painter, had been battling depression and was receiving treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, which he visited a day before the incident. He had come to Delhi to attend a family wedding and is survived by his wife and three children. Authorities are investigating the circumstances, marking the second such incident at this station within five days.
