The National Health Mission (NHM) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, has launched cancer screening for women at primary and community health centers, prioritizing dignity and confidentiality. The initiative aims for early detection and treatment, with thermal ablation devices to manage pre-cancerous cervical lesions at the district level. Patients with serious cases will be referred to higher centers for comprehensive oncology care, including medical, surgical, radiation, and chemotherapy.
