Over 100 Dehradun Government School Buildings Found Dilapidated, Demolition Planned

A report commissioned by Dehradun District Magistrate Savin Bansal found over 100 government school buildings in Dehradun district in poor condition, with 79 deemed completely unfit and 17 partially unusable. Alternative arrangements for 63 schools are in place, while setups for 16 more are being arranged. An amount of 1 crore has been sanctioned for demolition and safety measures, with teaching halted in unsafe buildings to ensure student safety.
