Telangana to Screen 46 Lakh Women SHG Members in Phased Health Initiative Starting March 8

The Telangana government will prepare health profiles for 46 lakh women Self Help Group members through 30 diagnostic tests each, starting March 8 on International Women's Day. This initiative is part of a 99-day 'Praja Palana - Pragati Pranalika' plan running from March 6 to June 12, implemented in phases focusing on maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, tuberculosis detection, and urban health service expansion. Screenings will be conducted in mandals across the state with support from Telangana Diagnostics.
