A video of the act, posted with a caption celebrating "Manusmriti Dahan," went viral on social media. The woman, identified as Priyanka Varun, claimed the video was three years old and reposted. An FIR was filed against her under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and she was taken into custody on December 30 before being granted bail.
