Over 20 Students Fall Ill at Pimpri-Chinchwad Tribal Hostel Due to Suspected Water Contamination

In Pimpri-Chinchwad's Moshi, over 20 students from a government tribal boys' hostel fell ill with symptoms like vomiting and nausea, suspected to be caused by contaminated drinking water. Around 26 students received treatment at New Bhosari Hospital, with most discharged and some under observation. Officials indicated possible contamination due to borewell water mixing with stored water amid supply shortages. The hostel warden was placed on forced leave pending inquiry, while parents and students raised concerns about water safety and management negligence.
