In February, a man named Liu from Longhui County, Hunan Province, China, discovered approximately 10 grams of gold particles worth around Rs 1.62 lakh inside a duck's stomach. The gold was confirmed through a burning test. The ducks were raised near a river historically known for gold mining, which may explain the presence of gold. Officials noted that verifying the gold and determining ownership could be complex. Similar findings have occurred locally, reflecting an ancient practice of collecting gold from duck droppings.
