Haryana Deploys AI Tools to Enhance Tuberculosis Detection and Treatment

Haryana has implemented three AI-based tools under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to enhance tuberculosis detection, treatment, and geographic planning. The tools include Cough Against TB (CATB), a mobile app for screening cough sounds; Prediction of Adverse TB Outcomes (PATO), which identifies high-risk patients for treatment dropout or mortality; and Vulnerability Mapping for Tuberculosis (VM-TB), a geospatial analytics tool. These initiatives, developed with the Central TB Division, aim to improve early detection and treatment adherence across the state.
