Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy and a journalist focused on environmental issues, has died at age 35. Her family announced her passing after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia, a rare form of blood cancer diagnosed in May 2024. Schlossberg detailed her extensive treatments, including chemotherapy and stem cell transplants, in a New Yorker essay published in November. In the essay, she also criticized policies of her cousin, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., particularly regarding cancer research funding.
