A senior doctor in Dombivli, Maharashtra, allegedly attempted suicide by consuming 45 sleeping pills and multiple beers following personal and domestic disputes. The doctor, who runs a hospital with his wife, reportedly faced emotional distress linked to an alleged relationship with a nurse pressuring him for marriage. Found unconscious by hospital staff after missing work and calls, he was hospitalized and is currently in stable condition. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
