
A temple committee in Goa has banned the sale of gobi manchurian and chicken tandoori at its popular festival, citing hygiene concerns and the use of unauthorized food colors. The decision, which also prohibits displaying raw chicken pieces, allows local dishes like chicken gravies and chaat. Vendors must obtain necessary No Objection Certificates from departments including the FDA, even for permitted food items.
