
Donyi-Polo Day was celebrated in Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, by the Adi community and other Tani tribes to honor their indigenous faith. The event, organized by the Central Donyi-Polo Yelam Kebang (CDPYK), featured prayers, traditional rituals, cultural performances, and the felicitation of community members. Donyi-Poloism, which worships the Sun (Donyi) and Moon (Polo), was formally organized in 1986, strengthening community cohesion and cultural identity. A new kitchen was inaugurated, and a statue commemorating the faith's organizer was present.
