The Delhi government inaugurated 81 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, increasing the total operational centres to 319 as part of a plan to establish over 1,100 across the city. These neighbourhood-level primary healthcare centres offer free consultations, medicines, diagnostic tests, and preventive services including screenings, immunisation, mental health support, and lifestyle counselling. Officials highlighted that the expansion aims to improve accessible healthcare, reduce pressure on major hospitals, and provide timely care close to residents' homes.
