Keyi Panyor District Orders Food Businesses to Obtain FSSAI and Trade Licences

The Keyi Panyor district administration in Arunachal Pradesh has directed all food business operators, including bakeries, hotels, restaurants, resorts, and homestays, to obtain valid Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) licences and trade licences immediately. The order mandates strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in food preparation, storage, and sale. It warns that operating without valid licences is illegal and violators will face penalties under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and other laws. This directive follows reports of stale and unhygienic food sales in the district.
