Kolkata Metro will operate eight additional services on its Blue Line on New Year's Eve, December 31, to accommodate late-night revellers. These special services, running after 9:40 PM, aim to ease congestion on the Dakshineswar-Shahid Khudiram and Shahid Khudiram-Dum Dum corridors. Regular services on other Metro lines will continue as usual, with no changes to the morning schedule of the Blue Line.
