East Delhi School Removes Four Students Over Unpaid Fee Dispute

A private school in East Delhi's Mayur Vihar has removed four Class 12 students from its rolls due to their parents' refusal to pay increased fees. The school cited Rule 35 of the Delhi School Education Rules, 1973, allowing name removal for non-payment, and stated that unaided private schools do not require prior approval to fix fees, referencing court judgments. Notices dated March 7 warned that students should not attend from March 9 if dues remain unpaid. The school and education authorities have not responded to requests for comment.
