A 16-year-old intermediate student in Telangana's Nagarkurnool gave birth to a baby in a diagnostic centre washroom hours after her exam. After experiencing severe abdominal pain, she was taken to a hospital and then to a scanning centre, where she went into labor. Staff alerted police after finding the newborn, who was reportedly placed in a dustbin by the girl and her mother. Both mother and baby are safe, and police are investigating the pregnancy. Similar incidents in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha have prompted inquiries into school and hostel oversight.
