Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, also known as Prakash Purab, celebrates the birth anniversary of the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. Observed on December 27, 2025, the occasion honours his teachings of equality, courage, justice, and selfless service. Sikhs worldwide participate in Kirtan, spiritual discourses, and Langar at Gurdwaras. Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa Panth in 1699 and declared the Guru Granth Sahib as the eternal Guru before his passing.
