The Delhi government is set to launch a new portal next month for its monthly financial assistance scheme of ₹6,000 for persons with benchmark disabilities requiring high support. The scheme, notified on October 1, aims to cover expenses for caregivers, medical treatment, therapy, and assistive devices. Applications will be processed through a structured medical assessment and eligibility scoring system, with funds disbursed via direct benefit transfer to beneficiaries or their family members.
