Rajasthan Government to Establish Mental Health Cells and Well-Being Centres in Medical Colleges

The Rajasthan government announced plans to establish a comprehensive well-being centre in every medical college and create a state-level mental health welfare cell to support medical students. Medical Education Commissioner Naresh Goyal directed that each college appoint a designated dean to monitor mental health issues. The initiative also includes strengthening administrative and academic systems to enhance psychological support for students.
