Two Teenagers Drown in River at Marayoor, Idukki District, Kerala

Two teenagers, Sanjith Kumar alias Senthil (15) and Balamurughan (14), drowned in a river at Kovilkadavu area in Marayoor, Idukki district, Kerala, after entering a deeper portion while bathing. The incident occurred around 4:30 pm, and local residents attempted a rescue upon hearing cries for help. Fire and Rescue personnel recovered the bodies by 5:30 pm. Marayoor police have initiated an investigation, and postmortems are scheduled before handing over the bodies to relatives.
