The tribunal found his manager, Kajan Theiventhiram, subjected him to derogatory remarks, including calling him a "slave," denied his leave requests to prioritize Sri Lankan Tamil colleagues, and forced excessive hours. The judge accepted Ravichandran's claims of unfair treatment and awarded him compensation, recommending discrimination training for the operating company, Nexus Foods Limited.
