Two students aged five and six were injured when a ceiling fan fell inside a classroom at a government upper primary school in Barmer district, Rajasthan, shortly after morning assembly. The fan's hook reportedly broke after colliding with another fan, causing it to fall and strike the children. They were taken to the district hospital for treatment. School authorities and local officials have ordered inspections of fans and electrical fittings following the incident, amid concerns raised by parents about safety and prior reports of an electric shock at the school.
