Government Launches Paripoorna Mediclaim Ayush Bima for CGHS Beneficiaries

The government has launched Paripoorna Mediclaim Ayush Bima, an optional health insurance plan for Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) beneficiaries. It offers in-patient hospitalization coverage with sum insured options of Rs 10 lakh or Rs 20 lakh, including 100% coverage for AYUSH treatments and partial coverage for modern treatments. The plan features co-payment options (70:30 or 50:50), discounted premiums, cashless treatment, and access to a wide hospital network. It covers pre- and post-hospitalization expenses and provides cumulative bonuses for claim-free years. The policy will be available through New India Assurance Company Limited both online and offline.
