Temple Committee Requires Affidavit from Non-Hindus to Visit Badrinath and Kedarnath Temples

The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has announced that all non-Hindus must submit an affidavit affirming their belief in Hinduism to enter temples under its management. This new rule affects actress Sara Ali Khan, who has frequently visited the Kedarnath temple since her 2018 film debut. Committee chairman Hemant Dwivedi stated that if she expresses devotion to Sanatan Dharma and submits the affidavit, she will be allowed to pray. Sara Ali Khan has not yet responded to this development.
