Haryana's Nuh district faces a significant teacher shortage, with nearly half of government school teaching posts vacant, contributing to the highest elementary-level dropout rate in the state for 2025-26 at 12.84%. Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda reported that 4,804 of 10,053 sanctioned posts remain unfilled, with recruitment efforts underway. While elementary dropout rates have risen, senior secondary dropout rates have declined. The government is tracking dropouts and conducting enrollment drives to encourage school attendance.
