Punjab Government Launches Statewide Food Testing Campaign Using Mobile Vans

Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh announced a statewide food testing campaign from April 1 to 15, 2026, using 'Food Safety on Wheels' mobile vans to detect adulteration in various food items. The initiative includes educating Food Business Operators and the public, alongside studies on chemical residues, heavy metals, pesticides, and antibiotic contamination.
