Uttar Pradesh Launches Pilot Digital Literacy Program for Girls' Schools

The Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department, in partnership with the Madad Foundation, launched a pilot digital literacy initiative distributing 40 tablets to Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Girls' Schools in Gorakhpur and Maharajganj. The program aims to enhance technological skills, support girls' education, and promote empowerment aligned with 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' and Digital India goals. Officials highlighted the initiative's role in building confidence and self-reliance, with plans to expand based on pilot outcomes.
