
Kerala Health Minister Veena George announced that four government healthcare institutions, including three in Kannur and one in Malappuram, have received National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) accreditation, raising the total number of accredited government health centers in the state to 312. These include various district, taluk, community, urban family, and family health centers. Accredited centers receive annual incentives, and the accreditation is valid for three years with periodic inspections.
