
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the 'Morning Nutrition Programme' in collaboration with the Akshaya Patra Foundation to provide nutritious morning meals to around 90,000 children in nearly 200 government schools. This initiative complements the existing mid-day meal scheme and aims to enhance children's energy and participation in studies and activities. Additionally, the Delhi government is expanding subsidised meals through Atal Canteens, targeting one lakh daily beneficiaries. Gupta also inaugurated healthcare infrastructure projects, reinforcing the government's focus on nutrition and health.
