
During this year's Sankranti celebrations in Andhra Pradesh, two families hosted grand feasts to honor their sons-in-law, a tradition symbolizing respect and familial love. A family in Tenali prepared 158 dishes, including traditional sweets, snacks, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, marking the couple's first Sankranti after marriage. In Konaseema's Adurru village, another family served an extensive spread of 1,374 dishes, accompanied by symbolic gifts.
