A 14-year-old ninth-grade student in Telangana's Mancherial district died by suicide after his mother reprimanded him for playing cricket instead of completing his homework. The boy, Nyalam Akarsh, reportedly locked himself in his room after the argument and was found by family members who broke down the door. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he was declared dead on arrival. Police are investigating the incident, with preliminary findings suggesting impulsive emotional distress as the cause.
