Over 180 Injured in Jallikattu Events Across Tiruchi, Karur, and Pudukottai Districts

Jallikattu events held across Tiruchi, Karur, and Pudukottai districts resulted in numerous injuries over two days. On Saturday, about 130 people were injured in multiple villages, with some requiring hospital treatment and others treated on-site. On Sunday, 52 persons were injured in events at Pothamettupatti and Vadamalappur villages, with a few hospitalized and others treated as outpatients. Hundreds of bulls and tamers participated in these traditional events.
