SGPC to Honor Sikh UPSC Achievers with Rs 1 Lakh and Support Fund

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) president, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, congratulated Sikh candidates who cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination, including Simrandeep Kaur, who ranked 15th nationally. The SGPC announced it will honour these achievers with Rs 1 lakh each and allocate a special fund in its budget to support needy Gursikh students preparing for administrative service exams, aiming to encourage and assist aspiring civil servants within the community.
