Residents in Indore's Bhagirathpura area are reporting severe health issues, including kidney damage and vomiting, after drinking contaminated water that reportedly mixed with sewer water around December 21. One resident shared that his father's treatment cost between ₹1.5 to ₹2 lakh, with no compensation from the administration. Around 1,100 symptomatic patients have been admitted, indicating a wider impact of the contaminated supply.
