The 166-year-old Ram Baraat procession was held in Bareilly on March 2, a day before Holi due to a lunar eclipse. Around 50,000 devotees participated, chanting "Jai Shri Ram" and showering flowers as the decorated wooden chariot carrying idols of Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman moved through the city. The event featured religious tableaux and colorful attire. Authorities implemented extensive security measures, including drone surveillance and plainclothes officers, while providing water tankers along the route to support attendees.
