Authorities recorded a sharp increase in vehicles, with tens of thousands crossing key toll plazas, prompting police to implement diversions and deploy additional staff and drones for traffic management. Long queues and slow movement were noted at multiple points, including Chityala, Kodad, and Miryalaguda, with the rush expected to continue into Monday evening as travelers return to cities.
