Arunachal Pradesh Hosts Marathons to Promote Women's Empowerment and Health

Arunachal Pradesh marked International Women's Day with marathons promoting women's empowerment and health. In Yingkiong, the Arunachal Pradesh Women's Welfare Society held a 5-km 'Pink Health' mini marathon with 54 participants, emphasizing gender equality and women's strength. Meanwhile, in Itanagar, the state government organized a marathon featuring a 10-km competitive run and a 5-km fun run, encouraging women of all ages to participate and highlighting initiatives like Mission Shakti for women's safety and empowerment.
