A tourist from Madurai, Vaishnavi, 26, was rescued from a gap between rocks at Pondy Marina beach after accidentally slipping while taking a video. Police and Fire and Rescue Services personnel used ropes and a crane to free her. She sustained leg injuries and was hospitalized. The incident occurred on Saturday evening.
