
Retired NASA astronaut Sunita Williams visited New Delhi, where she reunited with Kalpana Chawla's mother and sister, recalling their close bond and shared astronaut experiences. During an interactive session, Williams reflected on her Indian roots, her extended nine-month space mission, and the unifying perspective gained from viewing Earth from space. Kalpana Chawla's mother encouraged youth to aim high, emphasizing parental support. Williams also delivered a lecture at IIT Delhi and is set to attend the Kerala Literature Festival.
