Mohali Mayor Urges Action to Stop Chandigarh Sewage Discharge into N-Choe Drain

Mohali Mayor Amarjit Singh Sidhu has written to Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, urging immediate action to stop sewage discharge from Chandigarh into the N-Choe drain within Mohali's jurisdiction. The mayor highlighted that N-Choe, a seasonal rainwater drain, is being misused for sewage disposal, causing environmental harm and foul odors in Mohali's Nature Park. He requested an inquiry and better sewage management, emphasizing coordination between Chandigarh and Mohali authorities to address the issue.
