Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav encouraged youth to participate in blood donation drives, emphasizing that one unit of blood can save three lives. He noted that while voluntary blood donations are increasing, demand remains high. The State collected over 7 lakh units of blood in 2025, with 88.55% being voluntary. These donations support surgeries, trauma cases, cancer, and patients with conditions like thalassemia and sickle cell anemia.
