NHRC Seeks Inquiry into AIIMS Bhopal Assistant Professor's Suicide Over Harassment Allegations

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued notices to AIIMS Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh police, and the Union Ministry of Health following the suicide of assistant professor Srishti, who reportedly took her life due to alleged harassment by her Head of Department, Dr. Parvez. Despite multiple complaints by the victim, the administration is accused of inaction. The NHRC has requested an inquiry and detailed reports, including FIR and post-mortem documents, within 15 days to ensure accountability and systemic reforms.
