A swarm of honeybees attacked visitors at Pune's Sinhagad Fort on Sunday afternoon, injuring at least 25 people, including a toddler and a 67-year-old man. The incident reportedly began after a tourist threw a stone at a beehive near the samadhi area, causing the bees to swarm. Eight injured individuals required hospitalization. Rescue teams, including forest and disaster management officials and volunteers, evacuated the fort and provided medical assistance. Vehicular movement on the access road was temporarily halted as a precaution, and authorities are assessing safety measures for reopening.
