The Delhi government inaugurated 81 new Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs), increasing the total to 319 primary healthcare centres across the city. These centres offer free services including consultations, diagnostic tests, maternity care, vaccinations, and treatment for common ailments and non-communicable diseases. The initiative aims to reduce pressure on major hospitals and improve accessible, affordable healthcare. The government plans to establish 1,100 AAMs citywide, with digital systems enhancing patient registration and transparency.
